Goodland Energy Center Industrial Complex

Construction and finalization has begun at the Goodland Energy Center Industrial Complex located five (5) miles west of Goodland at the southeast corner of Sherman County Roads 14 and 65.

The formation of Goodland Energy Center, LLC, the owner of the Industrial Complex, has resulted in the creation of twelve full-time positions. Additional positions are anticipated as construction of the plants progresses. Another ten jobs have been created by Renewable Energy Resources, the general engineer for the current planned industries. Further employment opportunities will develop as construction of the planned facilities proceeds, several being temporary construction labor, but other full-time job creation is anticipated as a result of ancillary services and businesses that will be generated by the initial growth.
